    Experience: 3 -6 years of experience in procurement

    Key Responsibilities:

    Procurement Operations:
    Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and packaging items as per production plans.
    Raise and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers for on-time dispatch.
    Maintain minimum stock levels and avoid stock-outs or overstocking situations.
    Evaluate and finalize rate contracts or purchase agreements with vendors.

    Vendor Management:
    Identify and develop reliable vendors for quality products at competitive prices.
    Conduct regular market surveys for benchmarking of rates and supplier performance.
    Liaise with vendors regarding delivery schedules, order confirmations, and payments.

    Negotiation & Cost Control:
    Negotiate price, credit terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
    Analyse price trends and keep the management informed about cost-saving opportunities.

    Documentation & Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to company SOPs and documentation norms for procurement.
    Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, GRNs, invoices, and vendor contracts.
    Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.

    Inventory Coordination:
    Coordinate with the stores and production departments to forecast material requirements.
    Monitor consumption patterns and align procurement accordingly.

    Cross-functional Coordination:
    Work closely with the QA/QC, R&D, and Production teams for technical specifications and material approvals.
    Resolve quality or delivery-related issues in coordination with the concerned departments.

    MIS & Reporting:
    Prepare and share regular reports on purchase status, pending orders, cost analysis, and vendor performance.
    Maintain procurement dashboards and support audits with required data.

    Qualifications and Skills:
    Education: Graduate in Science / Commerce / Engineering. MBA in Supply Chain / Materials Management preferred.

    Experience: 3 -6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in pharmaceutical / animal health / chemical manufacturing.

    Technical Skills:
    Strong understanding of raw materials, chemicals, and packaging in the pharma or animal healthcare domain.

    Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
