Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in relational databases, data modeling, cloud migration, and automation, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures for seamless data extraction, transformation, and distribution.
Optimize data storage, processing, and availability while ensuring scalability and performance.
Lead the migration of on-premise data platforms to cloud-based infrastructure.
Collaborate with senior management, technology teams, and clients to support data-related initiatives and troubleshoot complex issues.

Qualifications & Experience

5-10 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, etc.).
Experience with distributed database systems and handling large, disconnected datasets.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake preferred).
Experience with ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Informatica a plus).
Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Autosys a plus).
Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python a plus).
Experience working in agile teams across globally distributed environments.
