PIU collaborates closely with leading companies and organizations in the plastics industry to provide students with valuable hands-on. experience, internship opportunities, and real-world projects. These partnerships also facilitate industry-driven research and innovation initiatives. Position: Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Are you passionate about shaping the future of mechanical engineering education and research PIU invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at our esteemed institution located in the bustling industrial city of Vapi, Gujarat. As an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at PIU, you will have the opportunity to: Teach and inspire the next generation of Plastics and Polymer Engineers, mechanical engineers with innovative and engaging courses. Conduct cutting-edge research in collaboration with industry partners, focusing on areas such as advanced manufacturing, materials science, 3D printing, Additive manufacturing, Mold and die design and more. Mentor students and guide them towards successful careers Contribute to sustainable solutions and advancements in mechanical engineering that positively impact society. Requirements: ME/M.Tech, PhD or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Strong academic background with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Relevant industry experience or collaborations preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of mechanical engineering and Plastics and Polymer Engineering education and research.
