Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced security platform engineering manager to oversee the modernization, development, implementation, and maintenance of our partner and workload identity platforms
- As the Partner and Workload Identity Platform Manager, you will be responsible for managing identities for dealers, suppliers, affiliates, consumers, and workload identities, ensuring seamless integration, exceptional user experience, and robust security across our platform ecosystem
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive responsibilities of software engineering across a wide breadth of infrastructure and technology competencies, including Application Development, APIs, Databases, and Cloud
- Proven experience in identity and access management (IAM), with a focus on identity security platforms and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud identity and access management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Azure AD) and hybrid identity architectures.
- Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle.
- Experience with thought and technological leadership with deep understanding of technologies used to deliver solutions.
- A proven track record of technical and managerial success.
- Experience in delivering and supporting customer facing, large scale 24x7 applications.
- Experience working directly with cloud platform technologies, including GCP, automated CI/CD pipelines, quality and observability tools, and monitoring and alerting systems.
- Understands and has led agile software development and management.
- Comfortable coaching team members with different skill sets and technical areas of focus and expertise.
- Motivated by a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and become productive in new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities: Platform Development and Maintenance:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Partner and Workload identity platform.
- Ensure the high availability and reliability of identity services, minimizing downtime and disruptions to business operations, through proactive monitoring, fault-tolerance, and disaster recovery planning.
- Establish proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect identity-related security threats and incidents, and lead incident response efforts to mitigate risks and minimize impact.
Partner Identity Management :
- Collaborate with business partners to define identity requirements, establish trust relationships, and manage partner identities securely within our ecosystem.
- Lead the modernization efforts of our platforms identity management system, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance scalability, agility, and efficiency.
Workload Identity Security :
- Manage and secure identities for internal systems, applications, and services, including service accounts, APIs, and other workload identities, to prevent unauthorized access and misuse.
- Implement and manage identity lifecycle processes for workload identities, including onboarding, provisioning, rotation, and deprovisioning, to maintain the integrity and security of identity credentials.
Developer Experience:
- Improve the developer experience by providing intuitive identity management APIs, documentation, and tools, enabling rapid integration and seamless authentication and authorization for developers building on our platform.
- Help build paved roads for product teams to use workload identities in secure and reliable way.
Identity Governance and Compliance :
- Define and enforce Partner identity governance policies, standards, and controls to ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders, to align identity security initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
Quality of Service:
- Define and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for identity services, and continuously monitor and optimize performance to meet or exceed service quality targets.
