Job Description
- Able to use professional concepts and company processes to solve routine problems. Works on problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Exercises judgment using standard software development processes in analyzing situations or data.
- Provides automated testing solutions and maintains them.
- Conducts tests, both functional, API and integration testing
- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance (technical documentation and specifications which are generally for internal use only).
- Exhibits high personal commitment to quality, implementing Development best practices.
- Works with Quality Engineering and Support staff to resolve problems with released software.
- Lead efforts to architect and develop automated test solutions for new and existing software.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline and ensure continued delivery of h igh quality software.
- Formal education level: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and
- 10+ years of experience in software testing or software engineering, A ppium, API and Mobile app testing is preferred
- 7+ years of Experience in BDD automation,
- 4+ years of Functional, API and Integration testing experience.
- Working experience with test management tools PractiTest or similar.
- Experience with BDD, the Gherkin language supporting tools ( SpecFlow , Cucumber )
- Familiarity with Dev Ops tools: Jenkins, Chef, Docker
- Working experience with test management tools Zephyr, QTP
- Web services integration REST SOAP in .NET
- Experience with designing systems in consideration of NFRs: performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, supportability
- Good experience with TDD, BDD or xUnit test patterns
- Knowledge of software documentation, utilities and job control languages.
- Requires in-depth, working knowledge of major areas of software engineering
- Demonstrated work history of successful application of concepts of typical problem solving within specialty.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum
- Experience developing retail or restaurants applications, Point of Sale, or payment applications is a plus.
