Dear candidate,

We are looking for a Civil substation design engineer for GIS Substation, we are expecting the candidates with 4 to 6yr of experience,for location Hyderabad

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to evaluate the suitability for substation construction.
• Perform feasibility studies considering geological, environmental, and regulatory factors.
• Develop detailed civil engineering designs for substation projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with electrical and structural engineers to integrate civil design with overall substation layout.
• Conduct structural analysis for foundations, supports, and other civil components.
• Ensure designs meet structural integrity and load-bearing requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and other engineering disciplines to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Stay informed about local, state, and national regulations related to civil engineering and permitting processes.
• Ensure that all designs and implementations adhere to relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on design documents.
• Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering components of substation projects.
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on substation design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices in the power industry.
