Network Engineer - Chennai - GAVS Technologies

Job Description

• 3 years of network experience required
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator), Preferred
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), Preferred
• Advanced knowledge of analyzing existing data networks and recommend scalable and supportable solutions
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco Data Center architecture
• Advanced knowledge of VELO Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of supporting Cisco / Fortinet / Aruba LAN/ WAN switches
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco/Aruba/Meraki Wireless Access Points and controllers
• Advanced knowledge of working within a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC)
• Advanced knowledge of WAN Optimization implementations
• Advanced knowledge of Server Load-Balancing appliances
• Advanced knowledge of analysis/forensic tools
• Advanced knowledge of Layer 1 - 3 troubleshooting of WAN circuits with global carriers
• Experience in the design, build, deploy and maintenance of enterprise WAN and LAN networks
• Experience supporting technology internationally
• Experience in the design, build, deploy and maintenance of enterprise TDM and VOIP networks
• Experience in PBX and/or Call Center systems
• Experience with voice mail, unified messaging, ACD and IVR systems
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
• Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
• Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers
• Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries
