Tool Developer is responsible to develop, test, pilot and launch the Engineering Environment, Platforms and Tools for Powertrain Engine Systems Provide timely Support for the Engineering Community on tooling and Platform Issues. Participate in periodic Users Meetings and contribute to periodic updates and improvements of tools. Ensure continuous improvement in efficiency and Productivity Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering E&C or related discipline Activities: The Engineer will be responsible for Tool, Modules. Responsible for Work Package / Sub Tasks assigned to him/her by their TL / PO Responsible for Development, Testing, Piloting, and Rollout Responsible for peer reviews in team and across team in similar technolgies Responsible for Configuration Management of the Deliverables (Source Code, Test specifications, Test Results) Listen to the Issues the users are facing, analyze the causes and provide solution. Derive and Implement the. Corrective actions and active to solve the issues in time. Ensure timely support and responses to the Engineering Community Improve, innovate tools in assigned area Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in Eclipse RCP Development preferably in Automotive Domain Should have knowledge in development processes and Methods preferably in Automotive Software 3+ year experience in developing products/tools using Java 8 and above. Should have minimum of 1 year of experience in writing Junit test cases Should have good knowledge in Data structures Exposure to in AUTOSAR, ARTOP would be added advantage Exposure to EMF would be added advantage Knowledge on scripting (Python/PowerShell, batch) is added advantage Exposure to CI/CT tools like Git, JIRA, Maven, and Jenkins would be an added advantage
