Job Description

SUMMARY RealPage is creating a new line of IoT-enabled Smart products under its Sustainability group to actively manage waste, water, and energy for entire property portfolios. You will help us transform the way the Multifamily industry manages these utilities to dramatically drive down usage and cost in environmentally sustainable ways. As a Business Analyst IV, you will translate business needs into the requirements documented as epics, features, and stories that our developers use to create applications, APIs, and system integrations. You will help manage scope of development in products and projects by liaising with development teams, business stakeholders and product owners. This position reports to our Director of Product Management. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Write new and update existing epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria. Lead requirements discussions with product, business, solution architects and engineering. Liaison between the UX, business, and. engineering teams to guide technical designs. Create flow diagrams in collaboration with solutions architects and development team. Collaborate with SCRUM master to optimize stories for sprints in Azure DevOps (or similar) and promote agile/scrum principles. Represent product and business in daily scrums and clarify ambiguous requirements. Maintain requirement integrity during testing cycles by collaborating with the QA team. Conduct sprint demonstrations to business and product owners. Write and edit content for product documentation (including release notes, user guides, marketing materials, product specs, etc.) for internal and external use. Collaborate with leaders to facilitate feature prioritization and roadmap creation. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Knowledge of sprints and agile development softwares such as Azure DevOps/ JIRA etc. Expertise in documenting requirements including user stories, and acceptance criteria. Expertise documenting requirements for both UI and backend (Database and API) components. 7 plus years of experience in project management, technical writing or related fields; requirement design experience strongly preferred. Must have worked in projects or products that created modern web and mobile applications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Comprehend a database schema with purpose of documenting it (does not have to code). Strong time-management skills; excellent follow up skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Keen attention to detail. Proficient knowledge of MS office, including Word and Excel. Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external management and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results. Overtime may be required as needed to meet department deliverables
