Devops Engineer @ Airtel

Job Description

1.Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (both Scripted and Declarative).

2.Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

3.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible

4.Monitoring setup using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.

5.Maintain and enhance build systems, artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus/Artifactory), and source control (e.g., Git/Bitbucket).

6.Integrate security tools into the pipeline for DevSecOps practices.

7.Write and maintain scripts in Shell, Groovy, or Python for automation tasks.

8.Participate in production deployments and environment support (Dev, QA, UAT, PROD).

9.Proficient with Linux environments and system administration tasks.

Good to have:

Knowledge of load balancing with Kong, Cassandra, Gloo, nginx etc.

Basic Familiarity with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
