Software Engineer @ MSys Technologies

Job Description

• Good knowledge on DNS & DHCP
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related software
• Knowledge on Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers
• Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines
• Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime
• Implement security measures to protect the organizations server and virtualization infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting on Windows Server and VMware-related issues
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security
• Troubleshoot server-related problems and provide timely resolution to incidents and service requests
• Monitor VMware environment health and performance using tools such as vRealize Operations Manager (vROps) or similar
• Implement disaster recovery solutions for VMware environments, ensuring data protection and business continuity
• Configure and maintain Domain Name System (DNS) services for internal and external network resolution
• Manage DNS zones, including forward and reverse lookup zones, and ensure proper domain name resolution
