Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related software
Knowledge on Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers
Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines
Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime
Implement security measures to protect the organizations server and virtualization infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI
Provide technical support and troubleshooting on Windows Server and VMware-related issues
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security
Troubleshoot server-related problems and provide timely resolution to incidents and service requests
Monitor VMware environment health and performance using tools such as vRealize Operations Manager (vROps) or similar
Implement disaster recovery solutions for VMware environments, ensuring data protection and business continuity
Configure and maintain Domain Name System (DNS) services for internal and external network resolution
Manage DNS zones, including forward and reverse lookup zones, and ensure proper domain name resolution
