Job Description
CorroHealth is looking for Multi Specialty Denial Coders to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Multi-Specialty Denial Coder to join our healthcare team
- In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes, and resolving claim denials to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for services rendered across multiple specialties
- Review denied claims and associated medical documentation to identify coding discrepancies and errors
- Assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes according to ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding guidelines
- Research and analyze coding guidelines, payer policies, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and resolve coding-related issues
- Communicate with insurance companies, payers, and providers to appeal claim denials and facilitate reimbursement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding updates, reimbursement trends, and industry changes
- Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure coding accuracy and completeness
- Provide education and training to clinical staff on coding guidelines, documentation requirements, and coding best practices
