Job Description

At IndiaMART, we are developing products to help new age e-commerce companies to increase buyer traffic to their stores in order to increase sales revenue. We are looking to hire candidates having relevant e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upselling merchants from free plans to paid plans. The role would also entail creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong sales background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for onboarding ecommerce merchants on paid plans
  • Align with internal teams (Marketing, Product) to deliver the numbers
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process and provide clear visibility on the pipeline
  • Analyze and identify how we can eliminate our clients- engagement and retention challenges
  • Become an expert on IndiaMARTs products, merchant use cases and target market to effectively communicate product value with merchants
  • Do exhaustive audit of the product and work closely with product team to get new features rolled out
  • Serve as an escalation point for merchant and be a liaison between Product Management, Support and the merchants for issues impacting their success
  • Track merchant metrics and maintain merchant health scorecards with clear action plans
  • Identify emerging trends to shape the future of product
  • Define and execute the marketing and communication activities to reach out e-commerce merchants
  • Coordinate all marketing activities to generate leads
  • Collaborate with other teams to promote offerings
  • Inform clients and prospects of products and services through creative marketing strategies
  • Track performance of all marketing campaigns

Skillset

  • Understanding of e-commerce ecosystem
  • 2+ years experience in sales management
  • Experience with SaaS/subscription based sales model
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • E-commerce experience is a plus
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 80% in 10th and 12th

Educational Qualification- B.Tech + MBA

Post Graduation - 60% & above

Graduation- 80% & above
