Job Description: We are in search of an adept DevOps Engineer with a robust background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and proficient in various DevOps tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD, ArgoCD, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), MongoDB, SQL databases, and GitOps methodology. Experience with Terraform is also required. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment procedures. Implement GitOps methodology for the management of infrastructure and application configurations using Git repositories. Configure and oversee Kubernetes clusters on GKE for container orchestration and deploying microservices-based applications. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools for GCP resource provisioning and configuration. Collaborate with development and operations teams to diagnose issues. optimize performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of infrastructure. Deploy monitoring and logging solutions to monitor the health and performance of applications and infrastructure components. Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go. Enforce security best practices throughout infrastructure and application deployment. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in constructing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Experience with GitOps methodology and infrastructure as code management. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly GKE. Proficient understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages. Experience with database management systems, including MongoDB and SQL databases. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with microservices architecture and related concepts. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
