Job Description
- The Solution Architect role demands a comprehensive grasp of our core clientele, the services we offer, and the ability to communicate effectively to present, describe, and craft products and solutions that resonate with both current and potential customers.
- The ideal candidate possesses extensive technical knowledge, particularly in Data, DevOps, Design, and Security within Cloud environments, coupled with the determination to secure business through written and presentation materials, RFIs, RFPs, and other customer interactions.
Key responsibilities include but are not restricted to:
- Providing thought leadership and technical support to aid business development and delivery programs for maintaining and expanding current and new projects.
- Identifying, evaluating, and designing technical solutions that meet the requirements of growth opportunities.
- Leading solution design and developing crucial documents for proposals and customers, such as past performance summaries, technical approach write-ups, architectural models, process diagrams, and concepts of operation.
- Synthesizing and consolidating experience from delivery teams into compelling written service offerings for new client marketing.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of our solution verticals, solution architecture capability, and overall value proposition.
- Collaborating with the Growth Team to comprehend customer strategic planning initiatives and intent.
- Responding in writing to technical queries and research requests from the Growth team and programs.
- Conducting business case analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key vendor partners to integrate technology and capabilities.
- Actively identifying, monitoring, and incorporating industry and vendor solutions.
- Overseeing the use of technology supporting federal client systems to optimize the utilization of the existing or target technical architecture.
- Reviewing proposed designs and technical solutions for suitability.
- Developing technical recommendations and collateral to engage current and prospective customers.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years in a Solution Development and Delivery role focused on technology solutions.
- 3+ years of demonstrated capability in writing effective responses to Fortune 100 RFIs, RFPs, and other requests.
- Proficiency and self-assessed expertise in at least two of the following disciplines: Agile & Lean principles, Data analytics, Cloud enablement, Data-centric solutions, Enterprise Architecture, Product management.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Documentation proficiency for existing and new processes.
- Evaluation of process effectiveness and development of change or alternatives.
Team collaboration skills.
- Identification and documentation of existing and new trends, and evaluation and prediction of their impact on the organization.
- Knowledge of Cloud-enabled/cloud-native solutions, AI/Client, Advanced Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, UI/UX strategy, and operational standards alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
- Ability to obtain clearance.
- Bachelors degree in information technology, communication, or analytics.
