Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Collection Technical Expert to manage and validate data collection tools, develop automation scripts, and oversee lab environments The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive technical background and strong problem-solving abilities

1 Data Collection Tools Management and Validation

Installation : Install and configure data collection and standard admin tools (password safe management, backup/restore, anti-virus, monitoring, CMDB registering, user directory management)
Application Upgrade : Manage upgrades ensuring minimal disruption and compatibility
Network Flow Requests : Coordinate with network teams for flow and port management
Procedure Creation : Develop and document procedures for L2 teams
Coordination with Architects : Collaborate with IT architects for technical solutions

2 Development Script Management

Shell Scripting : Create and maintain shell scripts for automation
Python : Develop scripts for data processing and integration
PowerShell : Write scripts for managing Windows environments
BMC Discovery Pattern : Manage patterns for accurate asset discovery

3 Lab and Cloud Technology

Cloud Technologie : Concept for administering VMWare environnements (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi), MS Hyper-V environnements and KVM Linux environnements
Lab Management : Set up and manage lab environments for testing

Technical Skills and Qualifications

Operating Systems : Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux administration
Security and Automation : Understanding of application security and automation tasks
Ticketing and Project Management : Experience with JIRA or similar tools
Certifications (Advantageous) : ITIL, SAFE, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
CMDB Tools : Experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB)
