Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform
- Lead initiatives for CI/CD pipeline automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline development, deployment, and observability practices.
- Administer and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on security, cost optimization, and performance.
- Implement configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-hosted).
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e. g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Troubleshoot production issues across services and infrastructure layers.
- Participate in on-call rotations and root cause analysis of incidents.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Technical Skills:
- Strong scripting skills (e. g., Bash, Python, Go).
- Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and source control tools.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs).
- Familiar with secrets management and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications (e. g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate).
- Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to lead projects and drive automation initiatives
