Mendix - Staff Software Engineer @ Equinix

Analyzes business requirements/functional designs to resolve the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Designs software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design integrating solutions to meet the companys needs.

• Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

• Resolving technical problems as they arise.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to development teams.

• Always turned on for Researching current and new technologies and proposing changes were needed.

• Advising various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.

• Assessing the business impact that confident technical choices have.

• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/masters degree in information technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design

• Effective interpersonal skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• 7+ years of working experience in developing Enterprise Applications

• 3+ years of working experience in Mendix

• Excellent working experience within an Agile environment

• Experienced in crafting mobile-friendly websites and web-based applications.

• Proven front-end development experience.

• Proven experience building UI deliverables such as wireframes, design mock-ups, user workflows, functional specifications, and style guides.

• In-depth knowledge/understanding of enterprise architecture patterns.

• Excellent working experience in Enterprise Applications (Web/Mobile) and integrations (REST, SOAP, OData, etc).

• In-depth understanding of functional/non-functional asks while solution crafting.

• Excellent understanding of backend and front-end technologies like Java, Node Js, React Js, and Angular Js.

• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and Sass

• Experienced with proven UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

• A basic understanding of JavaScript is a plus.

• Excellent understanding of Cloud concepts
