Job Description
- The JDE CNC Consultant will participate in Professional Services Projects for both existing and new customers with JDE installations, JDE Upgrades, JDE Data center migrations, configuration of new technology, adoption of best practices and optimizations on JDE platforms.
- This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- To be considered, you must have strong technical experience of JDE running on different platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our Solution Architects and Project Managers to define the right architecture to meet customer requirements while adhering to best practices.
- Be the lead JDE CNC in projects, work alongside JDE and Infrastructure Engineers, and provide both requirements and technical assistance to deliver JDE Environments.
- Perform JDE Installs, JDE Application Upgrades, and Data Center Migrations following project requirements.
- Assist customers in technical requests, staying current by applying the latest tools release and application updates.
- Help customers adopt new technology and available features to help automate and improve the efficiency of their processes.
- Configure and maintain the JDE system, servers, and processes during the project phase to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
- Assist in project phases and support Go-Live activities outside regular business hours if required.
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years JDE CNC experience.
- Bachelor s degree (B.S.) or Associate (2-year) Degree.
- 3 + years OS Administration experience (Desired) JDE CNC Certification (Desired)
- 2+ years professional experience in with major Cloud platform AWS, OCI, Azure, Google (Desired)
- Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation.
- JDE Multi Foundation configuration Experience within one or more of the following areas: Windows Server System Administration tasks. UNIX/Linux Server System Administration tasks. AS400 System Administration tasks.
- Exposure to Installation, configuration, or support for any the following: JDE AIS, Orchestration, BSSV, BIP, RTE 3rd Party Applications DSI, CreateForm, PackMan, Vertex.
- Experience with performance tuning and platform optimization using monitoring and troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Experience with running JDE data and object migrations.
- Solid understanding of industry best practices and standards including ITIL.
- Motivated to drive tasks to completion. Ability to prioritize and process multiple complex initiatives, deadlines, and processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of individuals.
