Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Kafka and Scala.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize and tune Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
- Implement best practices for data processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and Scala applications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Kafka and Scala.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with other big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Cassandra is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of machine learning and data analytics.
