Skills Technical Skills
Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA or equivalent with 6 - 9 years experience in US GAAP / IFRS accounting experience
B.Com with strong practical experience in Accounting and reporting for more than 10-12 years
Process Specific Skills
Should have expert level understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
Requires the knowledge and ability to review Journals, reconciliations provide solutions to technical accounting issues and organize projects
Insurance accounting regulatory reporting experience or US GAAP/IFRS knowledge mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Group Consolidation accounting and financials
Ability to understand the significance of various activities in a statutory/GAAP accounting close cycle and deliver results accordingly.

6 - 9 years of experience in technical accounting or reporting area preferably with an insurance company.
3+ years of supervisory experience in the field of Insurance/Reinsurance accounting for SM
2+ years of supervisory experience in the field of Insurance/Reinsurance accounting for Manager
Should have good understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
