Job Description Sr. Business Analyst (Lifesciences Revenue Management)
We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Business Analyst to join the team who will act as the liaison between the business experts and the project team members. The person should demonstrate a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).
Responsibilities:
- Communicate requirements with minimal direction and guidance.
- Acts as the liaison between the business experts and the project team members
- Facilitates business/functional requirement review, approval, and sign-off sessions.
- Prepares and delivers effective presentations.
- Identifies solutions to the development and technical team based on approved business and functional requirements.
- Participates in requirements and design sessions.
- Conducts and directs end-user testing responsibilities and tasks with minimal guidance from consultant staff, technical manager or project managers.
- Verifies that the technical solution meets the business requirements.
- Communicates effectively with end-users for project activities including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and beta training.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in related field or other equivalent degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience with minimum 5years on implementation, development or QA experience required.
- Proven knowledge in Lifesciences/Pharma Revenue Management domain with expertise in any one of the business processes such as Contract Management, Chargeback/Rebate Processing, Managed care, Medicaid or Government Pricing.
- Proven knowledge and experience with any one of the COTS products such as Model N (Powered by N/Powered by FLEX).
- Proven knowledge and experience with computer systems, applications, development, and testing methodologies as they relate to the business areas being supported.
- Successfully leads project teams with medium to large business initiatives.
- Proven working knowledge of industry standard methodologies i.e. Agile, Waterfall and best practices (i.e. Project Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle) using UML.
- Highly skilled in incorporating successful interviewing, facilitation, and documentation techniques within a project.
- Excellent facilitation skills with bringing multiple groups together to agree on project scope and build consensus.
- Ability to create concise use cases documenting both positive and negative outcomes.
- High-level of knowledge, experience and success with writing and reviewing test cases and Strong analytical skills
