Salesforce Solution Architect
Remote
Key Accountabilities:
- Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical analytical areas with wide range of complexity.
- Responsible for leading the technical design of systems and services, justifying, and communicating design decisions.
- Define CRM Technical strategy and be central to developing a deployment approach to migrate services.
- Regularly collaborate and find agreement with senior stakeholders, providing direction and challenge.
- Be proactive in identifying problems and translating these into non-technical descriptions that can be widely understood.
- Responsible for designing and implementing salesforce solutions that meet the unique needs of businesses and organization. Solutions of high quality, scalable, and performant.
- Problem-solvers of the CRM landscape, leveraging their expertise in software development, data management, and system integration to create efficient and effective solutions.
- Be able to clearly understand different technical and business concepts like target audiences, future development and extension plans for the software, plausible integrations with existing tech, legacy software maintenance, and knowledge of business processes and the IT environment.
- Making sure that the technical design and implementation are in line with the global CRM requirements and expectations. Solid Understanding of Best Practice across the Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. Essential to hold Salesforce Application architect certification or System Architect certification.
- Need to oversee working with Data Strategy Lead, the Data modelling, data migration and Data sharing.
- Need to oversee salesforce configuration, declarative automation, User experience (UX) execution, Handoff to other systems, Environment management, Deployments and supporting members of the scrum team.
- Able to work collaboratively with PO, Scrum Master and Design Lead to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Make sure to participate in project planning and estimation activities, helping to define the scope of the value stream, identify key milestones and deliverables, and contribute to the estimation of the work to be completed. They need to make sure the implementation is feasible and realistic.
- Collaborates with other Solution Engineers and Enterprise Architecture to make sure that solutions fit within enterprise context and aims for standardization of solutions.
- Coordinates medium to complex solution architecture implementations while leading design variances based upon business needs while ensuring artifacts are documented in enterprise architecture repository.
- Coordinates engagements with vendors as they relate to evaluation, design and delivery of business capabilities. Contributes to the evaluation and selection of software product standards.
- Participant in industry representation, policy formation, User Groups, and strategic direction.
- Regularly collaborate and find agreement with senior stakeholders, providing direction and challenge
- Assure other services and system quality, ensuring the technical work fits into the broader strategy.
- Understand trends and practices within the broader organisation and how these will impact their work
- Look for deeper underlying problems and opportunities and anticipate problems before they occur
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree; 7-10 years of continuous experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture.
- 7+ years of experience in End-to-end Salesforce.com implementations. Experience in designing and developing lightning components.
- Working Experience with development technologies such as Apex/VF, JAVA, .Net, Ruby, JS, jQuery, Angular.js
- Working knowledge of technologies (Soap, Rest) and Middleware tools such as Cast Iron or MuleSoft. Jitterbit or Informatica are a plus.
- Working Knowledge of Source Control, and Deployment concepts using technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN
- Senior Salesforce.com Developer. Developer or Technical Architect Salesforce.com certifications are a plus.
- Understands how to coordinate the flow of work between agile teams and more traditional project-based teams.
- Digital mindset, self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and apply digital concepts in our implementations such as UX, API, RPA.
- Possess strong leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges.
- Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
- Strong Technical leadership of Application Development teams and vendors; Cultivates networking opportunities within the organization.
- Knowledge about performance engineering, application and integration architecture using API Microservices, and Information Architecture modelling and design.
- Holistic IT background, including security, infrastructure, application, information management.
- Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects and infrastructure engineers to identify, design, and implement highly complex, end-to-end solutions.
- Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.ole & responsibilities
