Mandatory Skills: Typescript Coding should be strong, WebSockets, Rest APIs, API, Automation Testing and JEST Framework Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled API Automation Test Engineer with strong programming experience in TypeScript and expertise in API and WebSocket testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automated testing frameworks and should be passionate about ensuring the reliability of complex, real-time applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust API and WebSocket automation test suites using TypeScript. Work closely with developers to ensure quality across the entire SDLC by implementing reliable and scalable test frameworks. Design and execute test cases for REST APIs, real-time WebSocket communication, and AI-integrated services. Utilize the JEST framework for writing unit and integration tests. Investigate, debug, and triage issues, identifying root causes and ensuring long-term fixes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills And Experience 6 to 9 years of total experience in QA/testing with strong programming skills in TypeScript. Hands-on experience with WebSocket testing and REST API validation. Proficient in designing and implementing API automation frameworks. Solid experience with the JEST testing framework for JavaScript/TypeScript. Understanding of AI-based testing tools and approaches (preferred but not mandatory). Familiarity with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
