Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to uncover defects and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Excellent knowledge in testing skills(design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
- Create and maintain API specific test plans. API automation testing using tool like Postman
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Design, to understand product requirements, release dates and provide input on design and usability
- Create automated and manual software tests to prove that the product meets the requirements
- Conduct regression testing, load testing, and performance testing as needed.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess the automation potential of new features, enhancements, and updates to determine the appropriate level of test automation.
- Perform test data setup and management, including the creation and maintenance of test data repositories and databases for automated testing.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and identify and report defects or issues using bug tracking tools.
- Monitor test automation runs, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Participate in Flow reviews, sprint planning meetings, and daily stand-ups to provide input on test automation strategies, test coverage, and overall product quality.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in test automation and contribute to the adoption of new methodologies and techniques within the testing team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an automation tester or quality assurance engineer in software development projects.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
