Role Summary
It is a challenging role requiring over 17 years in IT with 5+ years in Azure and AWS, focusing on cloud migration strategies, roadmaps, and compliance with best practices. Candidate will be responsible for designing scalable cloud solutions, managing RFPs and presales, handling stakeholder requirements, and leveraging Azure and AWS expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- 17+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of experience in Azure and AWS.
- Proven experience in developing cloud migration strategies, defining migration roadmaps, and providing accurate estimates.
- Responsible for designing scalable, cost-effective, and efficient solutions while taking care of compliance and best practices.
- Proficiency with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery, IAM policies, Access control.
- Proficiency with AWS Organization, VPC, EC2, S3, Linux, IAM policies, Access Control, direct connect, backup and recovery, DR setup.
- Experience in working on RFP/Presales activities, Cloud COE, estimations and cloud migration strategies for applications.
- Working closely with stakeholders and product teams to gather technical and non-technical requirements and translate them into well-architected solutions.
- Experience in DR setup, Storage backup and recovery for cloud workload.
- Hands-on experience in Lift and shift migration of custom build and COTS applications to AWS and Azure Cloud.
- Hands-on experience in AWS and Azure Kubernetes, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation Templates, Azure ARM Templates, Terraform Scrips.
- Experience DevOps, Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps, Jenkins etc.
- Extensive experience Cloud Landing zone setup, VPC and Networking setup.
- Ensure that the architecture and solutions are compliant with Azure/AWS best practices and mitigate any security vulnerabilities that might occur.
- Focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud applications.
- Experience in SQL database lift Shift and Big Data Lift and shift to cloud.
- Experience with Azure/AWS Governance and Best Practices, Azure/AWS Architect Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), networking architectures, cost management controls, and other Azure governance principles.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Post Graduate
- 17+ years in IT and 5+ years with Azure and AWS.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- AWS Certified: AWS Solutions Architect
- Strong knowledge of cloud concepts, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure/AWS solutions.
