Job Description
- Negotiate and draft various commercial contracts, including Software as a Service ( SaaS ) agreements, software license agreements, confidentiality agreements, support and services agreements, partner agreements, and other purchasing agreements
- Review procurement requests and negotiate vendor agreements for various transactions, including technology purchases, consulting agreements, and marketing services and events
- Assist with generating responses for request for proposals, requests for information, and other similar inquiries to support pre-sales
- Assist with legal department projects as assigned, including the development and implementation of templates, trainings, playbooks, policies, and processes, including around security and privacy compliance
- Partner directly with the Sales, Finance, and Ops teams to ensure alignment and efficient time to close
- Provide support for maintenance of contracts database, track and manage reporting on relevant contract terms
- Support attorneys in executing on legal team initiatives, and carry out or assist with other related duties, as needed
Qualifications
JD or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school
7 - 10 years of relevant legal experience (prior in-house experience negotiating enterprise SaaS contracts and supporting an enterprise sales team, is highly preferred); international or government contracting experience
Excellent negotiating and contract drafting skills, including experience negotiating customer drafted forms
Experience in implementing, or working with contract lifecycle management tools
