Job Description

: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and key performance indicators (KPIs). Cost Management: Control and optimize costs related to the production, supply chain, and overhead expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost reduction strategies. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations, investments, and debt servicing. Optimize working capital management. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. including income tax, sales tax, and customs duties. Optimize tax planning to minimize the company's tax liability. Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of finance professionals, including accountants, financial analysts, and other staff. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. Financial Software and Systems: Utilize financial software and systems to streamline financial processes and reporting. Stay up to date with the latest financial technology trends and tools. Job Specifications: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree (e.g., MBA-Finance highly preferred) Proficiency in using Tally Prime. Experience in ERP Accounting Software added advantage. Min 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with progressively increasing responsibility. Experience in handling Project based accounting, relevant exp. within the furniture industry or a related manufacturing sector is a plus. Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and using financial software and tools. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Leadership and Management Skills: Effective leadership and team management abilities, as well as the capability to mentor and guide finance staff. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess financial data and make informed decisions. Meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis to ensure accuracy. Familiarity with financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements specific to the furniture industry and the region of operation.
