Job Description
Job Description: As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and certifying GCP compute and storage capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and automate cloud services using technologies such as
- Terraform (must have)
- Kubernetes, Helm (nice to have)
- Certify cloud services in a Life Sciences services environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, IAM policies, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and provide effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services.
- Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of software development/automation experience in the Cloud Platform engineering domain.
- Hands-on experience with cloud provider platforms, with a preference for GCP.
- Strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and Linux.
- Experience certifying cloud services in a Life Sciences services environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of common standards and practices involving CI/CD, IAM, and Security.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
