Senior, Software Engineer @ Walmart

Job Description

• Drive design, documentation, development and deployment of medium to complex product solutions at scale impacting the sellers.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.

• Mentor the junior enginners in the team
• Drive the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.

Degree in B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S.

As a software engineer (Frontend) you will develop feature sets that involve Responsive UIs with Restful Services and ensure a seamless product experience:

• * Experience of minimum 6+ years in Full stack development taking solutions to production

  * Hands-on experience to implement solutions using Java Script(React & Node JS)

• * Develop web applications using HTML, CSS, Java Script, TypeScript, React,

• * Experience implementing best practices and design patterns using Promises, RxJS, Observables

• * In-depth knowledge in Javascript including ES6+ and Typescript

• * Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs with NodeJS and integrations with third-party solutions

• * Experience in Android or iOS Native is added advantage

  * Experience in creating applications from the beginning

• * Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements

  * Experience writing and maintaining unit tests and automated tests for web applications using Jest

  * Exposure to CICD tools, including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure, DevOps deployments

• * Hands-on development to prototype technical solutions

  * Knowledge of any cloud platform solutions (Azure, GCP)

• * Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements

• * Knowledge on Micro Services Architecture, Event Driven Architectures

• * Good working knowledge with GraphQL based API development

• * Experience working on projects following an Agile or similar process

• Experience in building large scale distributed systems experience, including scalability and fault tolerance.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS
• CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
