Job Description

SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Engineer with 6+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry

• Good knowledge about Chassis commodity parts development, like design, performance & regulation requirement, and well- known product development procedure, like APQP or other similar procedure

• Good knowledge about related parts manufacturing process like pressing and sheet metal techniques.

• Fluent in English and good communication skills

• Development knowledge on APQP process, ensure all deliverables to achieve project milestones.

• Should to be capable to understand DVPR/DFMEA for new or redesign components

• Should be capable to understand the DFM, DFA requirements.

• Support for Value optimization for cost & weight reduction for IAP programs

• Benchmarking of Competitor products and propose feasible cost saving measures.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Chassis and its components like PWT, Exhaust system etc(Press tools, Sheet metal)

• Vehicle regulations knowledge (ECE & FMVSS)

• Product development knowledge

• Team center Knowledge

• Vis-pro & Vis mock-up knowledge

• PLM/Enovia knowledge

QUALIFICATION

• BE Degree / B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 6+ years of Exp

• Successfully completed basic CAD training, preferably UG-NX, Catia

• Location : Pune & Bangalore
