Job Description

  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

Job summary:
 
  • This role requires staying current with expertise and applying it to product and metric development, offering recommendations based on statistical inferences
  • Responsibilities include analyzing Engineering and Operational metrics which are essential for improving engineering health and practices and fostering relationships with stakeholders, identifying business needs, and executing necessary processes
  • The role involves providing strategic insights to senior management, developing management dashboards, tracking initiative outcomes, and collaborating across teams to gather and analyze granular business data
  • Additionally, the role supports the development of strategic roadmaps to leverage data and technology in engineering practices, employing advanced statistical techniques for data analysis to drive business decisions
What youll do:
 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for enhancing our data architecture and data infrastructure to improve our ability to deliver timely reporting, forecasts, and key strategic insights to the business

 

  • Help to drive the strategic thinking of senior management by delivering insights that may require in-depth analysis and personal initiative

 

  • Support the development of management dashboards to highlight key issues for the senior leadership team
  • Derive statistically sound insights that can contribute to actionable insights for senior leadership

 

  • Track and analyze the outcomes and impact of various initiatives post-implementation

 

  • Work across teams to identify data needed to analyze the business at a granular level, gathering available data through existing tools, including financial, engineering and operations

 

  • Assist with development of strategic roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage data and technology to engineering practices
  • Analyze data using various advanced statistical, mathematical, and econometric techniques to help drive business decisions by testing hypotheses, designing experiments, forecasting or predicting relevant outcomes, using machine learning or artificial intelligence to perform causal inference, or building structural models to perform counterfactual analysis
What youll bring:
 
  • Preferably Bachelors / Masters in Mathematics or Statistics or Economics with minimum 4 years of industry experience in analytical field.

 

  • Familiarity with the Agile manifesto and some of the different methodologies in the Agile ecosystem (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.)

 

  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company

 

  • Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way

 

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

 

  • Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organizations vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance

 

  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation

 

  • Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects Requires knowledge of: Organization KPIs; Assessment techniques. To understand the business priorities of internal Functions/teams.

 

  • Describe profitability drivers and considerations. Describe desired or actual business results in measurable scales or terms. Explain how the organization makes money.
  • Technology Landscape

 

  • Awareness: Requires knowledge of: Understanding of technology strategy and its linkages to domain; Basic understanding of existing and upcoming systems, technologies and trends; Product technical information;
  • Basic understanding of domain specific market standards; Basic understanding of methodologies and tools, processes, checkpoints. To develop business cases and recommendations for technology vertical
