Job Description

We are hiring a talented and experienced Mobile Performance Optimization Specialist with a strong background in JavaScript development to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Performance Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing the performance and efficiency of our mobile applications, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization in mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough performance assessments using various tools and techniques to analyze and measure app performance metrics such as load time, rendering speed, and responsiveness.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve mobile app performance, including code optimization, caching mechanisms, and resource minification.
• Utilize your strong JavaScript expertise to optimize client-side code and enhance the overall responsiveness and fluidity of mobile applications.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile performance optimization and incorporate them into our development processes.
• Work closely with QA engineers to conduct performance testing and ensure that optimized solutions meet quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams on implementing performance optimization techniques and resolving performance-related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in mobile performance optimization, with a focus on JavaScript-based applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features and modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Extensive knowledge of mobile app architecture, including client-server communication, caching mechanisms, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience using performance monitoring and profiling tools such as Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, or Firebase Performance Monitoring.
• Familiarity with mobile development platforms and technologies (iOS, Android, React Native, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with server-side optimization techniques (e.g., server-side rendering, CDN integration).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) and related performance optimization techniques.
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant certifications are a plus.
