Testing Lead - Bengaluru/Bangalore - Geidea @ Geidea Infotech

The purpose of this role is to ensure proper implementation of testing guidelines and provide technical assistance to the testers within the assigned domain to ensure delivery of products of high quality within Geidea Egypt

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Lead a group of testing engineers to ensure delivery of scope across assigned squads
• Ensure implementation of testing guidelines
• Provide mentoring and coaching to the team
• Review test cases, reports, coverage of scope, etc...
• Report scope progress for the assigned domain
• Work with the Automation Lead to prioritise what needs to be tested and what needs to be automated within assigned squads
• Lead Alignment between squads across the domain in terms of sharing best practices, lessons learned, etc
• Provide guidelines to mandatory testing tools used within the area
• Ensure accuracy of testing estimates within squads
• Manage alignment and communication with product team
• Monitor resources allocation to ensure efficiency within the assigned squads

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience, 1-2 years in a lead role in test leading, 1-2 years of experience in test automation
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or computer science
• ISTQB certification is preferred
• Detail oriented with extensive knowledge in documentation
• Fin-Tech background is preferred
• Experience in performance testing is preferred
• Knowledge of programming principles
• Experience in using Jira, Postman, swagger, Selenium, JMeter, mobile testing tools
• Experience in manual and automation testing
• Experience in Front-end and Back-end testing
• Full understanding of Agile methodology
