Software Engineer - Lead - Gurgaon - Orange @ Orange Business

• As part of Analytics and Data Intelligence team, you will work as Senior Spark Developer on AI & Data applications.
  
• You will take care of several applications hosted on Orange Big Data platform.
• You will design, develop, test, enhance Big Data and IA solutions, in adequacy with the end-users needs and expectations.

Your missions are:

• Creating, deploying, and maintaining Spark Scala applications
• Participating in software and architectural development
• Carrying out software testing, programming, and debugging processes
• Identifying all application issues, both production and non-production related
• Transforming requirements into real solutions
• Creating, testing, deploying, and supporting application software
• Recommending changes to improve established application processes
• Developing technical designs to develop applications

To be successful in the role, we would expect you to have:

• Proven experience as a Spark Developer or a related role
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python
• Strong experience of development using JavaScript, Nifi, Kafka, Hive, Hbase
• Familiarity with big data processing tools and techniques
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem
• Good understanding of distributed systems
• Experience with streaming data platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on knowledge of implementing multi-staged CI / CD with tools like AWS DevOps, Jenkins, BitBucket
• Experience of AGILE methods (Scrum, Kanban)
• Active contributions to forum and dev community
• Good exposure to software solutions and basics of hardware/networking
• Good understanding and knowledge of IT Service Concepts, Best practices and Standards
