Job Description
Job Position : Tendering & Estimation Manager
Job Location : Mumbai corporate office
Qualification : BE/B.Tech ( Civil )
Experience : 8 to 12 years preferrably in Water EPC projects Tendering.
Job Description :
- Study tender documents, drawings, specification, BOQ and finalizing scope of work.
- Preparing Tender Synopsis showing all technical as well as commercial conditions.
- Preparing pre bid Queries to the client, attending site visits and pre-bid meetings with client as and when required.
Quantity take-off from the drawings given by client and preparation of detailed BOQ
- Submission of Quotation request to Commercial department for Obtaining Subcontract & civil material offers, requirement of typical Plant & Machinery.
- Detailed scheduling/planning of the project and derive resources required
- Interact with execution department and collecting various output/consumptions at site and making benchmarking of the same.
- Rate Analysis for the complete scope of items based on first principle and the cycle time for each activity with inputs of resources like Plant, Labour, Material & Subcontract.
- Making comparison statement with various alternatives and options using Quotations and in house Rate Analysis.
- To work in close coordination with all concerned departments including Contracts Department, Designing Department, Purchase Department, etc
- To work in close co-ordination with external consultants if any.
- Quantity verification from tender drawings for each component of the project.
- Preparation of reports to full fill the Estimation manger requirements.
- Interact with Subcontractor & Suppliers for the pricing of tender.
- Preparation of risk and mitigation analysis for the subject tender.
- Preparation of method statement, schedules and all requisite deliverables for the successful submission of tender.
