Fortis Healthcare Ltd is looking for Resident General Surgery to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey -

• Medical Education: General Surgery Residents typically begin their journey with a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• This serves as the foundation of their medical knowledge
• Residency Program: After completing medical school, a General Surgery Resident enters a surgical residency program
• Residencies in general surgery typically last for five to seven years, depending on the program and country
• Clinical Rotations: During the residency, residents rotate through various surgical specialties, including trauma surgery, colorectal surgery, vascular surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and more
• These rotations provide exposure to a wide range of surgical techniques and patient populations
• Hands-On Training: Residents gain hands-on experience by assisting and performing surgical procedures under the guidance of experienced attending surgeons
• They progressively take on more responsibility as they advance in their training
• Patient Care: Residents are involved in all aspects of patient care, including preoperative evaluations, postoperative management, and follow-up care
• They develop skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing surgical conditions
