Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to corporate users, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong technical background to effectively address a wide range of technical issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to corporate users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and guided procedures.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate level of support personnel and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Document all support interactions, including issue details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions, in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and professional support.
  • Proactively identify recurring technical issues and recommend solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Assist in the development of knowledge base articles and training materials for end users.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and methodologies for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
