Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on IT Head to lead our Information Technology department and drive our technological initiatives forward. The IT Head will play a pivotal role in shaping our IT infrastructure, implementing scalable solutions, and ensuring the seamless operation of all technology systems within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap in alignment with the companys strategic objectives and growth plans.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends that can be leveraged to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology investments, prioritizing initiatives that deliver maximum value to the business.
2. Infrastructure Development:
- Design and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure/Internet Services to support the companys rapid growth and evolving needs.
- Oversee the deployment and management of cloud-based services, network architecture, and hardware/software systems.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard data, systems, and networks against potential threats and breaches.
3. Project Management:
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
4. Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery of products and services.
- Evaluate vendor performance, track compliance with contractual obligations, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the IT function, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Deep technical expertise across a broad range of IT domains, including infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and inspire confidence in the IT teams capabilities.
