Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Secure Software Development Lifecycle and assist developers in implementation and remediation of security related issues.
- Assist developers in Threat Modeling and the creation of a Threat table as well as recommending remediations to found issues.
- Code analysis tools (SCA, SAST, DAST) and SBOM
- Container and image security including tools like Trivy, Kube bench, Sysdig, Prisma Cloud, etc.
- Performs SAST/DAST, threat modeling, design reviews and penetration testing of cloud native applications.
- Assist in the implementation of security & privacy by design philosophy.
- SME in application security with good experience on microservices, Kubernetes, containers, python scripting to support CI / CD automation and integration with security tooling from development to deploy phases.
- Assist to evaluate security products, including product evaluations, proof of value and demos to clients.
- Worked on tools such as Checkmarx, Blackduck, Snyk.
- Self motivated and someone who works to achieve customer delight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands on experience in identifying, mitigating and remediating vulnerabilities based on OWASP Top 10 (API, Web, CI/CD), SANS Top 25.
- Experience with Github, Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS and Azure Pipeline/DevOps tools.
- Experience with continuous integration servers such as Jenkins and other DevOps tools
- Experience with secure coding practices and experience in consulting development teams on remediation guidance.
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and help with assisting security toolchain integration into pipelines, including cloud environments.
- Strong technical and communications skills
- Strong work ethics and experience in working with Jira, Confluence, Service Now, etc.
