Job Description
Are you an expert in ELT development and passionate about working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools like BigQuery, Python, and FirestoreIf so, we want you on our team! We re looking for someone to help design and implement efficient ELT pipelines that support data integration, analytics, and operational workloads. Your role won t just be about working in isolation you ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data processing and transformation.
What you ll be doing As an ELT Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain ELT pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Firestore.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized repositories or operational systems.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document ELT processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Monitor ELT jobs to ensure timely data availability.
- Debug and resolve issues in data pipelines to maintain data integrity.
- Qualification: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or something similar from a top institute (IIT, NIT, BITS, etc.).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in ELT/ETL development on cloud platforms.
- Proven expertise in GCP services like BigQuery, Firestore, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with SQL for querying and transforming data
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Firestore
- Knowledge of Apache Beam for building scalable data processing pipelines
- You should also have excellent problem-solving abilities, the communication skills to collaborate with teams.
- Have experience with GCP Cloud Scheduler or other orchestration tool
- Hold a Google Professional Data Engineer certification or similar.
- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines for deploying ELT workflows.
