- Job Title: QA Engineer Location: Triandrum Job Type: Full-time Company: SmartRabbitz Innovations Pvt Ltd Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing. Youll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that each release meets our high standards. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Review and analyze system specifications and requirements. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Prepare detailed QA documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Validate and verify defect fixes and ensure proper closure. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automated Testing. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools. Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Good understanding of database concepts; ability to write simple SQL queries is a plus. Experience testing web-based applications; mobile app testing is an advantage. Basic understanding of APIs and tools like Postman (optional but a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team.
