Technical Service Leader - Localization Position Summary As a Technical Service Leader in the localization industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing technical aspects related to localization projects. You will lead a team of technical experts, ensuring the seamless integration of technology into the localization workflow. This position requires a deep understanding of localization processes, software solutions, and a commitment to delivering high-quality localized content. Technical Leadership What You Will Do Provide technical expertise and leadership in the development and implementation of localization solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and integrate technology solutions accordingly. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance on technical issues and ensure the team's skill development. Localization. Technology Implementation Evaluate, select, and implement localization tools, software, and platforms to enhance efficiency and quality. Oversee the integration of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, Translation Management Systems (TMS),and other relevant technologies. Process Optimization Streamline and optimize localization processes by identifying and implementing automation opportunities. Conduct regular assessments to ensure technology solutions align with industry best practices. Quality Assurance Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of accurate and culturally appropriate localized content. Establish and enforce quality standards for technical aspects of localization projects. Client Interaction Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide consultative guidance on localization solutions. Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase technical capabilities. Issue Resolution Address and resolve technical challenges during the localization process promptly. Collaborate with relevant teams to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions. Documentation And Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes and configurations. Generate regular reports on technical aspects of localization projects for management review. To Be Successful You Will Have Bachelor's degree in any stream, Localization, or a related field. Min 5+ years of experience working with applications for process automation and workflow design, preferably in the localization domain Proven experience in a technical leadership role within the localization industry. Strong understanding of localization processes, CAT tools, TMS, and other related technologies. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Familiarity with industry standards and emerging trends in localization technology. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
