Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Analyst with expertise in penetration testing and digital forensics. As a member of our dynamic cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's systems and infrastructure through comprehensive penetration testing and conducting forensic investigations. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough penetration testing on our systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks. Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls. Develop and execute penetration testing plans, including defining scope, methodologies, and rules of engagement. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, including vulnerabilities discovered, their impact, and recommendations for remediation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended security measures and ensure. proper patch management. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices for penetration testing and digital forensics. Conduct digital forensic investigations in response to security incidents, including evidence collection, analysis, and reporting. Assist in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures. Provide guidance and support to other team members on cyber security best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are highly desirable. Proven experience in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux). Expertise in digital forensics, including evidence collection, preservation, and analysis using industry-standard tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Volatility). Familiarity with network protocols, system administration, and security architecture. Understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and security controls. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
