Job Description

Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst (Service Provider Firm) Job Summary: As a Cyber Security Analyst in our service provider firm, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive cyber security services to our clients. You will work closely with clients to assess their security needs, design and implement security solutions, and provide ongoing monitoring and support. Your expertise in cyber security will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection of client data and systems, as well as maintaining compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements, conduct risk assessments, and develop customized security strategies and solutions. Design, implement, and configure security technologies and systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure remote access. Conduct regular security audits and. vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses and recommend appropriate remediation measures. Monitor client networks and systems using security information and event management (SIEM) tools, analyze security events, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Assist clients in incident response and recovery efforts, including forensic analysis, containment, eradication, and post-incident reporting. Provide ongoing security monitoring and support, ensuring the integrity and availability of client systems and data. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices, and proactively make recommendations to enhance client security posture. Conduct security awareness training and workshops for client employees, promoting a culture of security and educating them about best practices for safeguarding sensitive information. Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation tailored to each client's unique requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and application developers, to ensure the secure design and implementation of client infrastructure and applications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable. Proven experience working in a cyber security role, preferably in a service provider or consulting environment. Strong knowledge of network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS) and experience in helping clients achieve and maintain compliance. Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning tools, and penetration testing methodologies. Understanding of incident response and disaster recovery principles and procedures. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess client needs, identify security gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and convey complex security concepts in a clear and concise manner. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
