Job Description

: Database Developer Position: Database Developer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 7+ years Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain databases in SQL Server, AWS, and MongoDB environments. Implement data models, schemas, and database structures to support application requirements. Optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and data caching. Collaborate with software. development teams to integrate database solutions into applications. Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing access controls and encryption where necessary. Monitor database systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks. Design and implement data migration processes between different database platforms. Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools to improve efficiency and scalability. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Extensive experience with SQL Server, AWS (RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift), and MongoDB. Proficiency in database design, normalization, and data modeling concepts. Strong SQL querying skills and experience with stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Familiarity with cloud-based database services and architecture. Experience with database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, replication, and performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team environment. Preferred: AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Database - Specialty). Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or Couchbase. Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
