We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, anchor, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: To be support the delivery of audit activity across Barclays UK Digital Platforms providing robust assurance of key processes and platforms that enable digital customer engagement, digital simplification, and automation of customer journeys. Working collaboratively with others in BIA to develop strong independent Auditee relationships, and to be a respected voice whilst developing AVP and Analysts. Responsible for leading the delivery of audits/assignments on a day-to-day basis to a high standard in line with audit methodology and to support delivery of the BUK Audit Plan. This is underpinned by role-modelling the Barclays values in all that we do. What will you be doing Lead audit work to ensure that relevant risks and controls have been identified and appropriately assessed. Provide insights and support to the audit team on a day to day basis to ensure impactful audit work is delivered as planned with regards to scope, budget, quality and timelines Review and complete processes and documentation of scoping, risk & control identification, control evaluation and observations in BIA audit toolkit. Collaborate and support the Director to define the appropriate coverage strategy and audit plan for the Barclays UK audit team, taking into consideration the Audit Risk Appetite, the current and expected business environment, the regulatory requirements and the resourcing levels within the team Write high quality observations and audit reports (with input from the audit team). Drive continuous monitoring activity across the key areas of responsibility (BUK Digital) to ensure key risks are understood and assessed in BIAs Audit Universe Proactively take on additional tasks as requested by the BIA Director/Portfolio Manager/Managing Director, completing these in line with expectations People Leader responsibilities for direct reports ensuring they are supported throughout What were looking for: Leadership experience within audit with extensive experience in risk-based auditing/assurance (Internal or External). Similar experience within other risk and control activities is also appropriate. Strong practical knowledge of risk and control in Digital/Technology/Data environments with the ability to understand data movement between key systems / applications. An understanding of good practices in the end to end design of processes, particularly for processes that involve digital customer engagement with an appreciation of customers expectations and what would constitute a good outcome from digital processes. Experience in and leading others that are evaluating technology that supports key systems / applications and related digital processes. The ability to explain technical analysis steps to both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge or experience of identifying opportunities for using data to enhance testing outcomes.
