CCTV Technician @ Kukulkan

Job Description

Installation and Configuration: Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, recorders, and other related equipment. Ensure proper positioning and alignment of cameras for optimal coverage. Set up and program surveillance software for remote monitoring. Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CCTV systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure uninterrupted system operation. Replace faulty components and conduct repairs as needed. System Upgrades: Stay informed about the latest CCTV technologies and recommend system upgrades when necessary. Implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability. Quality Assurance: Conduct tests and quality assurance checks on installed CCTV systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities. Provide. documentation and training to clients on system usage. Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a related field. In-depth knowledge of CCTV systems, equipment, and technology. Familiarity with networking principles and IP camera installations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication skills with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights when required.
