- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices
What you will do:
- As a Senior software engineer (Frontend) you will develop feature sets that involve Responsive UIs with Restful Services and ensure a seamless product experience:
- Design and lead the development of new features
- Design, Develop and maintain complex systems
- Work with to integrate the back-end and front-end systems
- Software development by providing engineering patterns to deliver the optimal product, including implementing design patterns.
- Work closely with peers and senior engineers/architects.
- Partner with UX, product owners, and business SMEs to analyse the business need and provide a supportable and sustainable engineered solution.
- Ensure that the overall technical solution is aligned with the business needs.
- Drive the creation and modifications of the product portfolio components, identify, and engage all technical resources necessary to contribute to the solution ensure the solution is consistent with Walmarts architecture, design, and development standards.
- Build reusable React components with Typescript modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux, and test everything with Jest.
- Work with other team leads, architects, developers and engineers to design and implement new features
- Mentor and lead junior developers
What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in React development.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and leading on technical aspects
- Extensive experience building web applications using MVC frameworks (ReactJS, NodeJS) for REST like applications.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to mentor and train junior developers
- Proven ability to lead a group through an architectural development process and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3years experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 1 year s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
